<p><strong>More than 16,000 voters cast ballots in Newton’s municipal elections on Tuesday night.</strong> Incumbent Andreae Downs and candidate <strong>Rena Getz each won a councilor-at-large seat for Ward 5</strong>, with Downs receiving 7,728 votes and Getz receiving 7,776 votes. </p>
